KCLS Requirement Status
Below is a list of requirements/features/enhancements that are KCLS published when they began their road down Evergreen. Some requirements are in active development. Some have been deferred. Still others are already part of Evergreen (this was a list of requirements, not a gap analysis). As time permits, the KCLS team will be updating each requirement with its status so the rest of the community knows what they've got actively on their plate.

Patrons can register for a library card online. Patrons are immediately granted a library card barcode and (if configured as a system setting) a PIN. Library can configure default patron type for online registrations, which can then be used to restrict access until the patron further authenticates his/her account. Library specifies the fields that appear on the online registration form, and which fields are required. System provides a utility to convert patron information to uppercase before writing it to the database. |
